The book explains how new features work for those items that have changed since the 1965 model year, such as the instrument panel, windshield wipers, steering, propeller shaft, torqueflite & shifter, heater, air conditioner, carburetor choke. You will find pages of specification charts with standard and optional equipment, including axle ratios by model and engine size, carburetor application chart, wheel and tire sizes and load ratings, and brake specifications. The electrical section has specification charts for alternators, voltage regulators, starter, and the ignition system, as well as charts detailing bulbs, fuses, and circuit breakers. There are step-by-step instructions for procedures that differ from the 1964 shop manual accompanied by diagrammed black and white pictures and illustrations for topics that apply to all cars, such as the rear axle (for all except Valiant and Dart), universal joint, and torqueflite shifter.
